In-depth analysis

This Brazilian sci-fi comedy uses temporal paradoxes as a narrative pretext to explore a classic question: can we escape the consequences of our decisions? The protagonist, a brilliant but embittered scientist, discovers that going back in time does not solve his problems — it complicates them. The film builds its humor from the logical contradictions of time travel, but its heart lies elsewhere: the need to accept who we are and the decisions that made us so. The screenplay avoids easy nihilism ('nothing matters because everything can be changed') and champions responsibility: the protagonist must learn that maturity does not consist of erasing mistakes, but of living with them and growing. The direction maintains a light tone that does not sacrifice depth. For families, it is a good opportunity to discuss regret, forgiveness, and acceptance. The content is clean save for occasionally strong language. A solid choice for teenagers and adults who enjoy thoughtful science fiction without superficial effects.
