In-depth analysis
This Frank Capra comedy explores the tension between innocence and corruption in modern society. The protagonist, a young idealist, confronts media manipulation and the cynicism of New York's high society. The film raises questions about human nature, the power of the press, and the importance of authenticity. Although it does not delve into theological themes, it does present an optimistic view of human beings and their capacity for good.
