Necrophilia and rape as a plot premise; extremely disturbing and inadmissible content.
In-depth analysis
The Corpse of Anna Fritz builds its premise upon two of the gravest crimes against human dignity: necrophilia and rape. The synopsis describes in detail how three men access the body of a deceased actress; one of them engages in sexual intercourse believing her to be dead, and when the young woman awakens —revealing she was alive— the act transforms into an ongoing rape. This is not a work that addresses evil to denounce it from the distance of serious art; it is entertainment built upon the absolute reduction of a person to an object of sexual use. The problem is not merely the crudeness of what is shown, but that the film invites the viewer to accompany this horror as if it were a valid thriller premise. To treat a woman —alive or dead— as disposable material for another's satisfaction is the most radical denial of her dignity. Regardless of the subsequent plot development, the work has already crossed a line that no family should normalize through its consumption. Not recommended under any circumstances.
