In-depth analysis
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is a superhero film that explores the duality between Bruce Wayne and Batman, delving into his origins and motivations. The central conflict is moral and existential: the fight against crime versus the possibility of a normal and happy life. The film raises questions about justice, revenge, and sacrifice, without falling into Manicheanism. Although it presents a dark tone and some violence, it offers a reflection on responsibility and heroism. Accompaniment is required for adolescents due to its treatment of complex themes and its somber atmosphere.
