Verdict
⚠️ [IDEOLOGICAL ALERT]: Alert for gender ideology subtly introduced in a family adventure.
In-depth analysis
Although it presents a visually appealing family adventure, 'Strange World' surreptitiously introduces gender ideology by normalizing homosexuality through one of the main characters, Ethan, who shows romantic interest in another boy. This relationship is presented as natural and positive, without offering a counterpoint that invites critical reflection. The film subtly redefines the family by including a homosexual relationship as just another component, without addressing the anthropological implications of this choice. Beneath a facade of inclusion and tolerance, the work promotes a vision of sexuality detached from the complementarity of man and woman and from procreation, presenting an anthropology contrary to natural law. This ideological contraband nullifies the possible positive values of the plot, turning it into a risky work for the formation of children.
