Synopsis
David Samaras, "el Griego", is the general producer of the popular talk show "Hoy se arregla el mundo", where supposedly ordinary people resolve relationship, couple, friendship, work, parent and child conflicts. The most enduring bond in his life is Benito, his 9-year-old son, the fruit of a casual relationship. The story changes completely when he learns that Benito is not his son. The search for the real dad will lead them to a crossroads much bigger than the one they set out to face.
Verdict
Comedy that celebrates true fatherhood through care and emotional connection.
In-depth analysis
Today the World is Fixed presents a luminous story about authentic fatherhood, where David, the producer of a talk show that resolves everyday conflicts, faces the revelation that Benito, the nine-year-old boy he has raised alone, is not his biological son. This twist does not destroy their bond, but illuminates it: the journey in search of the genetic father becomes an adventure that reaffirms responsible love as the essence of filiation. The film avoids facile sentimentality and opts for everyday Argentine humor, showing how the family order is sustained by daily commitment, not by DNA certificates. David embodies the virtue of persevering care, prioritizing the child's well-being over his personal doubts. Without violence or intrusive sensuality, the story highlights the dignity of genuine human bonds, reminding us that family is forged in mutual surrender. The talk show, with its exaggerated dramas, contrasts with the profound reality of the father-son relationship, inviting us to value emotional stability over appearances. It is a work that, with cheerful realism, proposes a healthy vision of the person: responsible, connected, and open to the mystery of true affections. Ideal for families looking for stories that edify without unnecessary confrontations.
