In-depth analysis

The film Light of the World narrates the public life of Christ through the eyes of the apostle Juan, from the beginning of his ministry to the crucifixion and resurrection. As a biblical account, it naturally presents the figure of Jesús, his message of salvation, and the transformative power of his death and resurrection. The PG certification indicates that the violence remains at a moderate level, focused on the Passion without excessively graphic details. There is no sexual content or inappropriate language. The anthropology it conveys is sound: the human being appears as a creature beloved by God, capable of freely responding to the call of Christ. The story underscores fidelity, sacrifice, and the hope of resurrection without introducing relativism or confusions about human identity. For Christian families, it proves a clear option that reinforces faith and the sense of divine filiation.
