In-depth analysis

The film explores the cultural uprooting and search for identity of a young man in a context of violence and poverty. Ulises, the protagonist, is forced to abandon his home and his passion for cumbia, facing loneliness and discrimination in a foreign country. The work raises questions about filiation, belonging, and the human capacity for adaptation in the face of adversity. While it does not present an explicit ideological agenda, it invites reflection on the consequences of social exclusion and the importance of preserving cultural roots. The coarse language may be an obstacle for some viewers.
