In-depth analysis

The film takes a morally problematic premise — a 37-year-old man who falls in love with a 17-year-old student — and presents it as a romantic story without ethical questioning. The age difference is not the only problem: they are at radically different life stages. He is an established executive seeking stability; she is a teenager in the midst of her formation. The imbalance of power, experience, and maturity makes this relationship not a 'generational difference romance,' but a situation of vulnerability for the minor. The synopsis itself reveals the work's approach: the young woman 'bursts in' and 'makes Álex's life take a radical turn,' presenting her as an active agent when in reality she is the vulnerable party in the equation. The script romanticizes what should be highlighted as a problem: an adult who seeks in a teenager what he did not find in his adult relationship. For parents, this work normalizes a relationship dynamic that children must be protected from, not celebrated on screen. Not recommended for any family audience.
